About the Job

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the financial accounting functions of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for real estate and contracting projects, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide cost analysis for real estate and contracting projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting for ongoing projects.
  • Perform financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for real estate and contracting operations.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve accounting issues with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Assist in the annual audit and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
  • Prepare and submit necessary tax documentation and ensure compliance with tax regulations specific to real estate and contracting in Dubai.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an Accountant, with a strong background in real estate and contracting accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with real estate and contracting accounting practices and regulations in Dubai is essential.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA or CMA are preferred.
