Your Opportunity
The Junior Project Manager is a central figure in ensuring project success by providing multifaceted support to the project manager and team. This role involves meticulous planning, coordination, and communication to deliver projects that meet the strategic objectives of ANS and the client. The coordinator ensures robust documentation, compliance with project methodologies, and effective stakeholder engagement, while also managing risks and resources to facilitate seamless project execution.

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a budding interest in data, with the ability to comprehend basic project metrics and a willingness to develop more sophisticated data analysis and reporting skills. They need to possesses a fundamental awareness of risks and change in project contexts and is keen to build expertise in risk assessment and change management strategies.

The role will be on site based in Sharjah Airport.

Key Accountabilities Assist in managing, planning, controlling, and coordinating projects to deliver benefits to both Air Navigation Services (ANS) and clients. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project manager, encompassing process management, documentation, and workflow development. Facilitate the entire planning process of projects, from inception to completion. Convene project meetings, document proceedings, and delegate tasks to ensure action items are addressed. Monitor and report on project progress, team performance, and adherence to milestones. Proactively identify, communicate, and strategise responses to potential risks and issues. Analyse project data to inform strategic decision-making and risk mitigation efforts. Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring a thorough record-keeping and reporting system. Adhere to and reinforce established project management methodologies and standards. Implement and ensure compliance with project policies and procedures. Distribute necessary project materials, ensuring team members have the resources they need.

Specific Requirements

Professional certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or equivalent are highly regarded.

Additional courses or certifications in risk management are advantageous.
