Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate, control and execute job planning of LHS & CEM associated operations in-line with Weatherford and client company policies, procedures and systems, statutory regulations and good industry practice.
• Interface with other product lines to promote integrated approach to the market place.
• Promote LHS & CEM good name through customer interaction and a professional approach to the job in hand, fostering good relations for continued business.
• Compose LHS & CEM program and discuss with Operations personnel prior to issuing to client.
• Conduct pre and post job brief and debrief, with Field Service Personnel and / or Operations representative.
• Be involved in any decision-making regarding operational problems; develop satisfactory resolutions to any customer problems.
• Support the Operations Manager and other Business Development Groups in the location and GZ and also out with your designated sphere to support growth of the product line. This will include technical and operational support.
• Working closely with the existing business development and sales functions collate Customer information, gleaned by the Operations team regarding future potential market growth areas and formulate a business plan to develop and secure work for LHS & CEM within the GZ
• Assist and help generate business plans and annual budget forecasts for relevant product line(s) & customer(s), and produce monthly operational & financial reports for senior management.
• Maintain regular contact across the various departments of Weatherford, in order to anticipate developments having a potential impact on LHS & CEM.
• Conduct annual performance appraisal of all direct reports in accordance with the Company’s Performance Management Policy & Procedure
• Attend Operations/Management meetings in order to share and update on recent activities and new equipment/processes/technical information. Also, to brief staff on LHS & CEM business pertaining to future activities
• Expected to run critical jobs at client well site as need arises.
• To comply with the company and client / customer health, safety, environmental, operational and Q.A. procedures and work instructions.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment
• Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.

Qualifications:

• Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or equivalent or 5-10 years oilfield experience
• Requires 5-10 years operations experience in Liner Hangers and Cementation Products.
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills, experienced in process control and systems management.
• Ability to prioritize workload to best suit needs of client and company.
• Must have good commercial awareness.
• Previous oilfield related experience within a large service sector company
• Knowledge of Weatherford services and product lines
• Knowledge of the latest industry practices and equipment for Liner Hangers.
• Ability to carry out problem job analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of financial and administration systems and process.
• Knowledge of Torque and Drag application is an advantage.
