The opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the responsible business practice group in the UAE, reporting to the global head of responsible business, and working closely with the UAE country director and leadership team.
- Driving service excellence and client satisfaction, delivering purpose-led and measurable outcomes for clients, with a strong focus on decarbonization and climate resilience, as well as an understanding of social value and biodiversity.
- Working and managing sustainable growth with clients across property and infrastructure projects and programs.
- Scaling up a local responsible business team of industry experts, with reach back to collaborate with a global team of 200 sustainability and social value colleagues.
- Oversight and awareness of the financial performance of responsible business services, ensuring commercial performance is in line with revenue, margin, and utilization targets.
- Enhancing the responsible business consultancy service offer and identifying and bringing new service offers and products to market.
- Working collaboratively with the Mace project management, programme management, project controls, and commercial management centers of excellence to integrate responsible business outcomes across the Mace consult business.
- Representing the company and clients in a public forum, attending internal and external events to represent and raise the profile of Mace and responsible business services.
About you
You have strong technical expertise as you grow a local team you will be required to both win and deliver work, you are creative and pursue a better way and respond to new and changing market demands and opportunities, you are commercially astute and familiar with all stakeholders and their needs in the sector, and aware of all sustainability and social value challenges and opportunities, you are an engaging communicator and being comfortable when representing the company and clients in a public forum.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
