We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Channels team within Commercial Banking, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

• Develop products and deliver projects that align with the defined strategy for the Interactive e-channels
• Develop products and deliver projects that are globally competitive and are focused on the customer
• Follow a standardized approach to the delivery of capability across the platforms
• Ensure that engagement with product groups to define and deliver on-line product capability is reflected in the scope and quality of product and projects delivered
• Develop products and deliver projects that support the demise of non-standard internet platforms
• Ensure all products and projects add value to the P&L
• Ensure all products and projects are delivered in accordance with the Delivery Strategy of the Global Order book
• Ensure all products and projects are delivered in accordance with the business application of the IT Strategy
• Manage all product and project risks including risk associated with fraud, data management, legal regulatory/compliance etc
• Be an SME to client facing teams
• Ensure completed products and projects are commercialized appropriately
• Ensure customer feedback is heard and acted upon where relevant
• Ensure any relevant contributions are made to the global development and running of the eCommerce business

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Basic understanding of banking product management, digital technology
• Knowledge of Payments and Cash Management or Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF)
• Experience in managing e-commerce platforms
• Experience in project/programme management with relationship management skills and/or industry product specialist
• Good business acumen and commercial awareness, together with a sound knowledge of the full range of transaction banking products commerce and/or ecommerce
• High level oral and written communication skills and presentation skills including public speaking
• Technical and Computer skills. HSBC net knowledge is highly preferred
• Flair for complex and analytical reasoning
• Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
