About this opportunity
Gleeds in the UAE are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their expanding Project Management team, who will be responsible for managing the delivery of full life cycle project management services for a major hospitality project.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our client’s requirements.
- Managing the hospitality project to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures
- Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent and/or Project Manager
- A background in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management would be advantageous
- Clear understanding of regional legislation impacting on building contracts.
- Managing and chairing meetings, following up with assigning actions to all parties on a project
- Effectively communicating with clients and providing high level of service to meet their requirements
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams.
Who we’re looking for:
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
- 10+ years post graduate project management PMC experience
- 2+ years living and working in UAE
- Full project lifecycle experience
- 2+ years high end hospitality project experience
- Sound project management experience post qualification
- Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques
- Solid pre-contract experience managing design teams and procurement processes.
- Solid post contract delivery experience managing contractor on site and contract administration
- Able to lead and run a project independently.
- Willing to travel daily to Ras Al Khaimah / or be based in Ras Al Khaimah
- Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects.
Qualifications
- Project Management or related degree
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or
- MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers) or equivalent
